WSU Presidents

Throughout its history, WSU has been guided by fifteen presidents.  Current President Muma leads us onward in the university’s 126th year.  This display is an invitation to learn more about our presidents and the resources in the University Libraries about and by them.

2021 Summer Olympics

                                  Let the Games Begin!  This display aims to raise awareness of the legacy of
      WSU’s Olympians and Paralympians past and present.  It also brings attention
      to resources in the WSU Libraries about the Games, including those about
      underrepresented athletes, politics and iconic Olympians like Jesse Owens, 
      Mildred “Babe” Didrikson and Michael Phelps.

Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month 2021

  


Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, now officially proclaimed Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, takes place in May. It celebrates the culture, traditions, and history of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders in the United States. Thank you to all those who teach us about this culture through their writing and art.

In Memory of Beverly Cleary

     This display was created in memory of Beverly Cleary, who passed away March 25,
     2021. The library has many of her beloved books readily available for checkout.
