Services and Technology

In addition to the services listed below, researchers may call the Circulation Desk at (316) 978-3582 or use the their online Wichita State University Libraries Catalog account to request books and other library materials. Items will be held for pick up at either Ablah, MALIC or Chemistry Library.

University Libraries has resources to help you prepare and practice presentations. In addition to the spaces in Ablah Library listed below, a pocket projector, document camera, portable projector, microphones, still and video cameras, tripods, iPads, laptops, and other equipment may be checked out from the Circulation Desk. Presentation Practice

Several types of collaborative tables and study rooms are available in Ablah Library. Reserve group study rooms and private focus rooms through the calendar.

A simplified video recording studio where WSU students, faculty and staff can record high quality videos without any hassle of setting up the lights and camera. Bring a flash drive to keep the file. Schedule through the One-Button Studio Calendar.

The Media Design Zone is dedicated for media editing, recording, creative writing, website development and publishing. There are two Mac based workstations and one Windows 10 based workstation along with a sound booth.

Schedule through the Sound Booth Calendar. Equipment includes a Mac based workstation, Yamaha keyboard and digital drums, a mic for audio recording, headphones, a speaker and a Xenyx UFX1204 sound mixer.
