The University Libraries currently subscribes to IEL Electronic Library which includes IEEE Journals and IEEE Conference Papers with backfiles to 1872, IEEE Standards, several IET journals and conference proceedings, IEEE Spectrum, and Proceedings of the IEEE. A few years ago, the Libraries subscribed only to the IEEE All-Society Periodicals Package with IEEE journals from 2005 to the present. For the past several years, the University Libraries has been able to offer the entire IEL Electronic Library with funding from the Office of Research and Technology Transfer and its predecessor, the Office of Research Administration. Beginning in 2016, ORTT will no longer provide funds for library databases including IEL Electronic Library. Without those funds, the Libraries will have to scale back the IEEE subscription once again to the IEEE All-Society Periodicals Package.
Beginning in May 2016, faculty and students will only have access to IEEE journals from 2005 to the present. The following resources will no longer be available:

When a cancelled IEEE or IET journal or conference proceeding is not available with the scaled-back IEEE subscription, WSU faculty and staff are encouraged to submit requests for needed items to ILLiad, our interlibrary loan service. That service has been enhanced with RapidILL -- an even faster and more effective service now available to University Libraries. More information is provided under the RapidILL tab on the left.
