To request articles from journals or monographic serials not held by the University Libraries, WSU faculty, staff, and students already have access to fast retrieval through ILLiad, our online interlibrary loan service. Recently, the University Libraries joined a consortium of North American research libraries participating in a resource sharing system called RapidILL that provides even faster online retrieval of ILLiad article and book requests. Libraries that participate in RapidILL agree to provide 24 hour turnaround time (Monday-Friday) for ILL requests from member libraries. Articles often arrive as email links on the same day or even within a few hours of the request while books are often delivered to the ILL Office via FedEx within 24 hours. WSU faculty and staff are encouraged to logon to ILLiad with their MyWSU ID and password to take advantage of this exciting new ILL service.
