Physical items placed on Course Reserve may include books, periodicals, microforms, sound recordings, or movies. These items are available for checkout with your Shockercard by visiting Ablah Library's Circulation or Reserve Desks.
Electronic Reserve items are linked directly from our online catalog at libcat.wichita.edu. On the Course Reserve tab, search by instructor, department, or course to find your assigned readings. Beginning in Fall 2015, Electronic Reserve items will be linked in the corresponding Blackboard course inside an eReserves folder.

Recalls or Holds: We will recall books for an instructor to put on reserve for his/her classes. However, due to high demand, reserve items cannot be recalled or placed on hold.
Your instructor may place class readings in electronic reserve. These readings are accessible on any computer; when off-campus you will be asked to login with your myWSU ID.
Select your instructor, department, or course from the drop down menus.
You will now see the list of titles placed on reserve. Verify at the top of each record that the item is for your course and instructor.
To determine if the reading is available, click on the title.
If available electronically, look under "Holdings Information" for E-Item. Click on the link to the right of "E-Item" to access the full text and graphics of the reading.
After opening the PDF file, the reading may be printed or downloaded to your computer.
