WordPress software has a billed-in gallery feature for quickly creating photo galleries. The WordPress block editor includes a Gallery block.  In addition, the WordPress image gallery plugins can be used to create image collections using various features.

WordPress Portfolios

WordPress may be chosen as a platform for creative portfolios by photographers, artists, designers, architects, and other creative disciplines and professions.

Basic steps:

  • Get account at DigiProj (contact Samuel Willis, Library Technology Development Librarian)
  • Select and install right theme and plugins.
  • Build a header.
  • Build a project gallery.
  • Put together an About Me section.
  • Set up a contact form.
  • Finalize your WordPress portfolio site.
