  • Planning to enroll in a graduate program that requires research

Coursework can be made more robust or remedial to meet student needs. Contact Angela Paul.

For the Family

WSU students and employees as well as non-WSU people (whom we call community users) may check out books from Ablah Library. In addition to the small sample of children's books with military themes listed below, we have many other types of materials. Our Popular Reading Collection is located in the reading room on the main floor of Ablah Library for bestselling adult fiction and nonfiction. To find more books, start in the Library Catalog and follow the hot links in the library catalog record related to the subject of interest to you. (Or just ask a librarian.)

Students may also check out movies! The Student Government Association and Student Activities Council have organized a selection of popular movies on Blu-Ray and DVD. Movies may be borrowed by students. Ask a librarian for more information about how to find these titles.

University Libraries also has some streaming video:

To find more like these, follow the hot links in the library catalog record related to the subject of interest to you. Or just ask a librarian. :)

Family members and others who are not WSU students can get their own WSU library card and check out books! Community users are always welcome to use WSU Libraries collections and services, although movies and some other collections must be used in Ablah Library. A Community User Shocker Card is required to checkout books. Any photo ID is required to use a Community User computer. Community Users may use the Guest wireless network, although e-books and library databases are not available through this network. See the links below for more information.
