Scholarly Journal Article:

With DOI:

  • The Digital Object Identifier (DOI) is preferred by the APA.  If no DOI is available, however, include the URL for the article from the publisher's website.  In general, you will be able to do this by searching Google by article title and journal title.  In the example above, the journal CyberPsychology, Behavior & Social Networking is published by Marry Ann Libert, Inc. Publishers.  The URL is from the publisher's website, and points to the journal's record for the individual article being cited.
