Reserve Collections

Newspapers

Current print newspapers are located in Reserve in Periodicals Section. They are kept for a limited time, and may not be checked out. Older issues of some newspapers are archived on microfilm and housed in Reserve or Compact Shelving. For a list of newspapers in Reserve in any format, view a list from our catalog here.

 

University Libraries also subscribes to thousands of newspapers in electronic format. Visit our Newspaper Research Guide to see some of the local, national, historic, and international titles available in our electronic databases.  

Periodicals

Current print periodicals are displayed in call number order in Reserve. They are kept there for a limited time, and then prepared to be bound. Current periodicals may be checked out for 7 days at the Reserve Desk.

 

Once single issues are bound together in a volume, they are shelved in Ablah Stacks according to call number. Check the Online Catalog for library holdings and availability. Bound periodicals may be checked out for 7 days.

 

Many periodicals that were once available in print are now purchased in electronic format only. If you don't see what you're looking for, please check our holdings by searching for the journal title
