Course description: This course develops knowledge and skills to conduct a functional behavior assessment and positive behavior support plan needed by classroom teachers to affect academic and social-emotional outcomes. This course addresses connections of challenging behaviors to aspects of the learner’s (a) environments, (b) cultural diversity, (c) developmental and academic skills, and (d) physiological needs.
