It is important to study examples of StoryMaps that others have made. In so doing, one learns about possible features to include in a StoryMap, and one sees both positive and negative aspects of published StoryMaps.
This is a fine example of using ArcGIS StoryMaps in the digital humanities. There is effective storytelling with multiple types of media including maps and photographs.
