Toni Pitchford is a native of Chicago. After working in various capacities as an entrepreneur, in private business, and city and state governmental sectors, she began her career with the Census Bureau in 1996 as an information specialist. She has since served in numerous positions with the Census Bureau, including

  • Decennial Partnership Specialist
  • Survey Supervisor
  • Special Census Supervisor
  • Special Project Manager
  • Partnership Coordinator for a three State region during the last two Decennial Census (2000 and 2010)
  • Currently as Data Dissemination Specialist for Arkansas, Kansas, and Missouri

""As the Data Dissemination Specialist for the tri-state region, she helps individuals, organizations, elected officials, and educational entities navigate the Census website to assist with planning, research, and grant writing. Toni is committed to dissemination and access of governmental data and succinctly articulates the importance of this data to communities. She assists the youth of tomorrow by helping them navigate through this data with simple and understandable instruction. Toni has always valued assisting people with information that will add value knowledge to the quality of life. Toni is an active member within her church and believes in the strength of her Covenant. One of the many cherished achievements in her life is being a great-grandmother. To her, watching future generations of our society grow and develop has been the most exciting experience to date.
