CSE (CBE) Style Manual

Council of Science EditorsThe CSE (CBE)citation style is based on Scientific Style and Format: The CSE Manual for Authors, Editors, and Publishers, 7th edition (2006) produced by the Council of Science Editors, formally known as the Council of Biology Editors (CBE).  The CSE format is often used by authors writing in the natural sciences including biology, chemistry, geology, mathematics, and physics. The CSE style uses two different citation systems: the Name-Year system and the Citation-Sequence (Superscript) system. Make sure to verify if a specific system is required when using this CSE style.
