Making Mary's Monster: A University Libraries Escape Room

Are you a fan of escape rooms? Mary Shelley? Horror? The University Libraries? Come join us for an exciting new University Libraries event, "Making Mary’s Monster: A University Libraries and Women in Horror Month Escape Room".

Mary Shelley, Percy Bysshe Shelly, Lord Byron, and Dr. John Polidori embark on a writing contest to see who can pen the best ghost story. Mary, upon awakening from a nightmare, begins writing her masterpiece, Frankenstein, when she is struck by an affliction that visits students, academics, and authors the world over: The Dreaded Writers' Block. Form your team (2-8 participants), solve puzzles, and help Mary finish her story!
