BADM 100: Exploring the World of Business

What counts as a “Source”?

Data from IBISWorld counts as one source because they generate and gather the data themselves (unless otherwise noted in the report).

The other two databases are tools that bring together information from many different sources. Each document you find in Business Source Complete, or dataset in Statista, counts as one unique source.

To find the source information in Business Source Complete, click on the title of a document and look for the Cite icon on the left side of the screen.

To find the source information in Statista, click on the title of a dataset and find the source listed in a box on the left side of the page.
