BADM 100: Exploring the World of Business

NAICS Codes

Locating comprehensive information for an industry can be challenging. One way to ensure a thorough search is to use the industry's NAICS code.

NAICS (North American Industry Classification System) is the standard used by Federal agencies to classify business establishments.

Once you've identified the code for your industry you can use it to search the databases on this guide to find all the information related to the industry.
