Spectral Database for Organic Compounds (SDBS)
A very useful database developed and maintained by Japan’s National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology. The database includes 14700 1H NMR spectra and 13000 13C NMR spectra as well as FT-IR, Raman, ESR, and MS data. Access to the database is available free of charge for noncommercial use. Users are requested not to download more than 50 spectra and/or compound information in one day.

SciFinder is the electronic successor to Chemical Abstracts and has a lot of additional features including the ability to search for a compound by drawing the structure. With it you can locate substances via the Registry file (chemical structure and dictionary database along with experimental and calculated properties for many compounds (including Spectra for a number of them). You can access all of Chemical Abstracts from 1907 plus citations to some literature from even earlier years. Citing and cited references for each article for recent years. Reaction Searches may be done. By default SciFinder Scholar also searches Medline when the “Get References” option is chosen.

Contains thermochemical information and IR spectra for over 7500 compounds, mass spectra for over 10,000 compounds, UV/Vis spectra for over 400 compounds, and electronic and vibrational spectra for over 3000 compounds.

SDBS is an integrated spectral database system for organic compounds,which includes 6 different types of spectra under a directory of the compounds. It is available through this free web site organized by National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), Japan.
