Wichita State Common Read 2022: Notes From a Young Black Chef

Notes From a Young Black Chef: A Memoir by Kwame Onwuachi with Joshua David Stein

WSU Common Reads 2022-2023

Wichita State Common Read

The Wichita State Common Read was initiated by the Office of First Year Programs to provide students a common experience in their first year at Wichita State University. For the 2022-2023 academic year, the Wichita State Common Read program has selected Notes from a Young Black Chef: A Memoir by Kwame Onwuachi and Joshua Stein. As a common read experience, all new students receive a copy of Notes from a Young Black Chef at student orientation and the novel will be  incorporated into classes such as WSU 101 and Honors 101 as well as various programs outside of the classroom.

Please join us in Ablah Library for a book discussion! We hope all first-year seminar instructors can come, but everyone is welcome to join us. Held at 1:30 on Thursday, August 11, 2022 in Ablah Library. See the University Libraries Events calendar for details and registration.
