Resources for faculty, staff and student diversity in higher education

Diversity Statements and Statistics

three students walking into libraryThis guide was created to support the University’s goal to increase the diversity of faculty, staff and students. We aspire for this guide to be an educational resource about the diverse students, staff and faculty at Wichita State.

The University's strategic plan strives in part to:

-- Be a campus that reflects and promotes – in all community members – the evolving diversity of society.

-- Promote holistic student success through a supportive learning environment in which all of our students — past, present and future — continually thrive and grow.

-- Empower students, faculty, staff and the greater Wichita community to create a culture and experience that meets their ever-changing needs.

Faculty and student statistics on this guide come from the Common Data Set, which contains a variety of data about Wichita State University and is also used by many other universities, which provides the same reporting standards for all universities. Staff employment statistics are supplied by WSU Human Resources.

Relevant Wichita State University offices, departments and links, including equal employment opportunity and affirmative action information.
