Ablah Library - First Floor
There are 5 computer workstations for public use in the Community Resource Center (CRC) in the Reserve section on the first floor of Ablah Library. Printing and scanning services are also available.
To use the Community Resource Center, show a photo ID at the Circulation Desk to receive a temporary username and password. You do not need a Community User Shocker ID to use the computers.
The guidelines for using the CRC are as follows:
Patrons must be 14 years of age or older.
Patrons must show a valid photo ID (driver’s license, high school ID, etc.) each time they wish to use a Community Resource computer.
Patrons are not required to register as a Community User or provide proof of Social Security Number to use the CRC.
Sessions are limited to 2 hours. A session can be renewed for additional time as long as no other patron is waiting to use a computer.
One session per person, per day.
On the occasions that all workstations are in use, a wait list will be created on a first come, first serve basis.
All patrons using Ablah Library’s Community Resource Center agree to adhere to all Wichita State University and University Libraries policies, especially the Acceptable Use Policy (WSU Policies and Procedures Manual 19.01) and University Libraries’ Computer Use and Networking Resources Policy.
Violation of the above policies may deem the patron as ineligible for Community Resource Center privileges for a period of one year at the discretion of University Libraries.
In the event that a current WSU student needs computer access and none are available, their academic needs take priority and we will place them on a CRC computer.
If you have questions, contact the Circulation Desk at 316-978-3582.
