The AmericasBarometer data sets feature a common core set of questions that has been asked from 2004 to present day. In addition, LAPOP (Latin American Public Opinion Project at Vanderbilt University) has datasets that date back to the 1970s. Questionnaires and information on each data set can be found here.

Arab Barometer is a central resource for quantitative research on the Middle East. Our objective is to disseminate and apply survey findings in order to contribute to political reform and to strengthen institutional capacity for public opinion research.

The Asian Barometer is a large comparative survey in Asia, covering East, Southeast, South and Central Asia. It focuses on daily lives of ordinary people (bumi putra) and their relationships to family, neighborhood, workplace, social and political institutions and market place.

The European Social Survey (ESS) is an academically driven cross-national survey that has been conducted across Europe since its establishment in 2001. Every two years, face-to-face interviews are conducted with newly selected, cross-sectional samples. The survey measures the attitudes, beliefs and behaviour patterns of diverse populations in more than thirty nations.

The Global Indicators Database contains data from over 500,000 interviews in 64 countries.

The WVS consists of nationally representative surveys conducted in almost 100 countries which contain almost 90 percent of the world’s population, using a common questionnaire.
