Before using our computers, students have to change their password to indicate that they are current students (Online Catalog computer can be used for this purpose).
If someone has forgotten their password, they can change it on the online catalog computer(mywsu.wichita.edu>manage password>leave password section blank> answer security question>change password)
If students do not remember the answers to their security questions, send them to One Stop(Jabara Hall Room 120).
Scanner should be restarted if an error shows up, but if that does not fix the error, ask Systems to help.
The Circulation desk has flashdrives for checkout.
There is a fifteen minute limit to use the scanner, but use your discretion if no one is waiting.
Students and faculty/staff can use WSU Secure.
You need to be a current student to be able to use WSU Secure.
WSU Guest does not require credentials and can be used by anyone.
If a student cannot access WSU Secure, password reset is the first solution.
If trouble shooting does not work, Call Systems.
Community Users get a Username and Password from the Circulation Desk (with a two-hour limit).
Printing for Community Users are paid at and picked up at the Circulation Desk.
If someone needs help in the Community Resource Area, try to troubleshoot first, then escalate to the next level. Levels: Circulation to C-Space, C-Space to Systems.
Students can look up books/articles from the Online Catalog computer (they cannot print from there).
If you cannot help them or if they are looking for something that is beyond your knowledge, ask the Librarian on-call to come help you.
Any questions regarding the Tech Hub or 3D printing should be forwarded to the Tech Hub Help Desk.
But it is important you know the software/services available at the Tech Hub (A copy of the software and other details regarding the Tech Hub is kept in the bin at the help desk).
