Instructions for Accessing Films on Kanopy

Viewing on Computers

For laptop and desktop computers, the following link to the Kanopy database should work well. You can search the database by title and then login with your WSU credentials to view the film.

A streaming video platform for a multitude of subject areas: Gender, Race & Diversity; the Humanities; Business; Science; Health; the Arts; Teacher Education; and Communications. In addition to the videos the University Libraries has subscribed to, a preview of other videos are available.
Terms of Use
Flash is required to play the videos on a PC. Videos can also be played on all iPads, iPhones and other mobile devices.

Viewing on Tablets and Smartphones

On tablets and smartphones, one needs to download the Kanopy app and watch films through this app. It is very difficult to watch the films through the normal browser such as Safari on the device. After downloading the Kanopy app on your device, click "Get Started." Next click "Find University" and search for Wichita State University. Then login with your WSU credentials. You will then need to create a Kanopy account, or you can sign up with Google or Facebook. After creating a Kanopy account, you can use this information to login in the future.
