1) Go to BioMed Central
2) Click on the Journals tab (see graphic below) to locate a specific journal. Once you have selected the journal, use the search box in the upper right-hand corner of the page to find articles of interest. Or, click on the Articles tab to see a list of recent articles or the most frequently viewed articles in that journal.
OR
Click on the Articles tab to see a list of all of the articles in the database. Once on the Articles page, you can view all of the articles, or click on the link to view only the Most popular (highly accessed) articles.
3) When you find an article of interest, click on the title to access its metrics. If the article has been cited by others articles in BioMed Central, there will be a link to a list of those articles.
4) Finally, click on the Article metrics link on the right-hand side of the page:
Altmetrics provided: number of article accesses, citations from other BioMed Central articles, and the article's Altmetric Score from Altmetric.com. If available, citations from Google Scholar and PubMed Central will also be displayed. Click here to see more information about which metrics are included.
