Vanessa Rusch, MLIS, is a Library Relations Manager and research resources expert with SAGE Publishing. She joined SAGE in January 2018 and has spent her career developing a diverse background in the fields of publishing, academia, and librarianship. Vanessa is passionate about information access—particularly in a dynamic online learning environment—and the advancement of Open Access publishing.

She regularly teaches workshops and classes highlighting ways to develop and advance researcher skills at all academic levels and areas of study. Vanessa is also a certified yoga instructor, nature advocate, and avid traveler. When she isn’t teaching, attending conferences, or working from her home office in Oregon, you can find her exploring the great outdoors with her family.
