Downloading and installing EndNote / Setting up EndNote Online

To register for an EndNote Online account, go to: https://access.clarivate.com/login?app=endnote
Click on create an account and follow the instructions

PASSWORD TIPS -- Your password must

Be 8 or more characters (no spaces) and contain:
            - at least 1 numeral: 0 - 9
            - at least 1 alpha character, case-sensitive
            - at least 1 symbol: ! @ # $ % ^ * ( ) ~ ` [ ] | \ & _
Example: 1sun%moon

EndNote Online login screen

All WSU students, faculty, and staff can download the EndNote software for free. EndNote is available for both Windows PC and Mac platforms. To download:

Login to your myWSU account -- https://mywsu.wichita.edu
Click on myTools in the Student Toolbox or Faculty Toolbox on the left-hand side of the screen
Click on Download EndNote under General on the left-hand side of the screen, and follow the instructions

CAUTION! During the download process, you will need to choose between two installation types – Typical or Custom. If you choose Typical, you will download the most popular styles, output filters, etc. You may need to go to the web occasionally to download styles or filters that were not included. If you choose the Custom installation, you can select as many of the available styles and filters as you wish.
