Identifying Companies within an Industry
If you need to find a list of companies in a particular industry, try using one of the following research databases. Most contain listings of companies by industry. They also contain company overviews (addresses, key executives, annual sales, number of employees), current news articles, company financials, and more.
If you're having trouble finding a profile through a company search, try looking on the company's website, or searching for articles about the company in Business Source Complete or in national newspapers (e.g. The New York Times) or regional newspapers (e.g. The Wichita Eagle).
