Intro to SurveyMonkey:  Learn how to create surveys, get responses, analyze results, and display results graphically using the web based tool SurveyMonkey. Making PowerPoint More Engaging:   Learn how to present information with charts, tables, smart art, and infographics to engage your audience.  Discover new ways to spice up your PowerPoint presentation with fun designs, sounds, transitions, and animations. Presented by Sara Butts.

Intro to Excel:  Learn how to create and navigate a basic spreadsheet in MS Excel 2013. Basic tools and functions will be explored in this introductory class.  Presented by Angie Paul.

Creating Effective Research Posters:  Interested in sharing your research?  Posters are an excellent way to share your work at conferences, competitions, and other events - but you need to make a good impression fast.   Learn design and software tips to clearly convey methods and findings to a diverse audience, attract attention, and start a conversation about your research.  Presented by Meghann Kuhlmann.

Each semester the University Libraries offers workshops designed to strengthen the skills of students, faculty and staff in the use of online tools for research, presentation and teaching.  Faculty and instructors are welcome to encourage student attendance at library workshops and even offer extra credit for students that attend a workshop (certificates of attendance are available to students upon request).  Workshops are free and open to students, faculty, staff, and the general public.
