Course Description: Studies the health and behaviors of various human societies, especially in, but not limited to, those outside the western, scientific tradition. Covers attitudes toward the etiology of disease, the techniques of healing, the use of curative drugs and other agents, the roles of healers and therapists and the attitudes of the community toward the ill.
