A resource for art information indexing and abstracting of over 600 periodicals dating back to 1984, including 280 peer-reviewed journals. It also indexes and abstracts over 13,000 art dissertations and indexes almost 200,000 art reproductions. The database covers fine, decorative and commercial art, folk art, photography, film and architecture, and also includes a database-specific thesaurus.

Discover Islamic Art
Part of the Museum With No Frontiers, 14 countries have collaborated on producing a virtual museum on the Internet that explores Islamic art and material culture in the Mediterranean region. This collaboration brings together a representative selection of Islamic objects, monuments and historical sites from Portugal, Spain and Italy on the northern shores of the Mediterranean; Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria and Egypt on the southern shores; and Jordan, the Palestinian Authority, Syria and Turkey on the eastern coast. Relevant Islamic collections from museums in Germany, Sweden and the United Kingdom complete the virtual museum’s collections.
